How do you practice?

How do you get your Pilates practice on? Are you a solo practitioner, or do you love a group environment?

I find different ways to practice get different outcomes for myself.

I love my personal practice time, getting down and gritty with the work, in my body and seeing how it feels that day. What if I slightly change a set up? Or change a spring setting? What does this do? Maybe some of those discoveries can then move into my clients bodies and help their practice.

But I also love group classes. I love the energy that comes in a group class, and I love the creative energy from different instructors. Different cueing and different flows can have a big impact on your own movement practice in and out of the studio.

So what is your preferred choice? Does it change day to day like me? Do you book into as many online classes as you can - which is so easy now, and you can practice with people all over the world. Or do you practice in your own studio or home, and work on your own progress?
